BPMB BRINGS RAYA CHEER TO RESIDENTS OF PUSAT JAGAAN TITIAN KASEH

The month of Syawal is all about sharing with those in need. Therefore, in keeping with the tradition of spreading love and joy, BPMB celebrated 70 residents of Pusat Jagaan Titian Kaseh, in Titiwangsa in Kuala Lumpur on 19 May 2023. The residents, comprising orphans, senior citizens and persons with disabilities enjoyed the simple Raya celebration themed “Santun Raya”.

The residents enjoyed the spread of traditional Raya feast, which included Kentucky Fried Chicken and pasta. BPMB’s Managing Director, Mohamed Nazri Omar presented the Bank’s contribution of RM13,000 to the charity home. The event was also attended by BPMB Board Member Puan Norazilla Md Tahir, the Senior Leadership Team and volunteers. Each resident received ‘duit raya’ from BPMB.

Our utmost appreciation goes to the volunteers, led by Rizal Rozhan (KSRBP’s Communications EXCO). The volunteers cleaned the charity home the day before the event and also accompanied the younger residents throughout the Raya celebration. Some BPMB representatives showed their support by purchasing baked goodies produced by the single mothers of the charity home.
